Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are & How to Contact Us
This Privacy Policy explains how de Coster Marketing LLC (“de Coster Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit dc-marketing.io (the “Site”), use our forms, or contact us. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, email us at hello@dc-marketing.io.
2. Personal Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you select, and the message you send. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server-log data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the page that referred you, and the pages you view. This data is used to operate and secure the Site.
Unless you have opted out, we also use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the Site — such as the pages you view and general device and browser information — through first-party cookies and similar identifiers (see Section 5).
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account details, government identifiers, or other sensitive categories of personal information.
3. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you (when you complete a form) and automatically from your browser and device — through server logs, our spam-protection service, and (unless you have opted out) our analytics provider and advertising pixel — when you use the Site.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to: respond to your inquiries and communicate with you; send you our newsletter if you signed up for it; protect our forms and the Site against spam and abuse; operate, maintain, and secure the Site; measure and improve our advertising (see Section 7); and meet our legal obligations.
5. Service Providers & Third Parties
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting (United States)
- Resend, Inc. — delivery of our contact and newsletter emails (United States)
- Cloudflare, Inc. — “Turnstile” spam and bot protection on our forms (United States)
- Upstash, Inc. — rate-limiting and abuse prevention for our forms (United States)
- Google LLC — “Google Analytics” website-usage analytics (United States)
These providers are contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us and not for their own purposes.
We use Google Analytics only to understand how visitors use the Site. We have turned off Google’s advertising features (Google Signals and ad personalization), so Google acts as our service provider and does not use this information for its own advertising. Like the advertising pixel, Google Analytics loads only when you have not opted out and your browser does not send a Global Privacy Control signal.
Separately from the service providers above, we use the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel from Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States) to measure and improve our advertising. Unlike those providers, Meta may use the information it receives through the pixel for its own purposes. Because of that, we treat this as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA — see Section 7 for what it involves and how to opt out.
6. Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect or process “sensitive personal information” as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
7. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We use the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel on the Site to measure and improve our advertising. Through it, limited information — such as your IP address, device and browser data, and the pages you view — is shared with Meta, which may use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this is considered “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money.
You can opt out of this sharing at any time through our “Your Privacy Choices” control, linked in the footer of every page. When you opt out, we stop loading the advertising pixel on that device. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals automatically (see Section 10): the pixel does not load for any visitor whose browser sends a GPC signal.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence — for example, California (CCPA/CPRA), Texas (TDPSA), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to: know what personal information we have collected; access a copy of it; request its deletion; request its correction; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and limit the use of sensitive personal information (not applicable here, as we do not collect such information). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
9. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@dc-marketing.io with your request and enough detail for us to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (under the CCPA, generally within 45 days, with one extension where permitted). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
10. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Your browser or a browser extension may send a Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal that communicates your choice to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC: when we detect a GPC signal, we do not load our advertising pixel, so no sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising takes place. You do not need to take any further action for us to honor GPC.
11. Data Retention
We keep the information you submit only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain our business records, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
13. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share such information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Contact for Privacy Requests
For any privacy-related question or request, contact de Coster Marketing LLC at hello@dc-marketing.io.
15. Precedence Over Prior Agreements
If you have a separate written agreement with us that addresses privacy or data handling and a conflict arises, this Privacy Policy governs our handling of personal information collected through the Site, unless that agreement expressly states otherwise.
